ShaderMark 2.0
According to ShaderMark 2.0, the X700 XT is, on average, slightly behind NVIDIA's 6600 GT. In some cases it's significantly slower than 6600 GT. It's got nearly exactly half the raw pixel shader power of 6800 GT, NVIDIA's 350MHz four-quad part. In all cases the RV410 at 475MHz is able to massively outclass NVIDIA's outgoing NV3x GPU, in the form of the 390MHz NV35 that powers the 5900 PCX. 9800 XT (R360) would be a different matter, but the outcome would still be the same. RV410 at 475MHz is usefully quicker then 9800 XT in Shadermark 2.0, despite it not being mentioned on my graphs. 6600 GT's clock speed advantage is the main benefactor of the NVIDIA board's wins.
