Medical imaging requires large datasets that need to be processed quickly. Almost all other cards produce similar results, but the Quadro M6000 is some way ahead.
Autodesk is also the provider of Showcase 2013. The test runs through DirectX rendering that includes shading, projected shadows and self-shadows. Solid-enough performance here.
Siemens NX is up next, often used in vehicle engineering simulation. The M6000 rules the roost here, too.
SolidWorks performance is also middle of the road for AMD's finest workstation card. It's comfortably outpaced by a trio of Kepler- and Maxwell-based Nvidia GPUs.
