AquaMark3 & UT2003

AquaMark3

Vendor: Massive - (Website)
API: DirectX 9.0
Pixel Shader Version Supported: Unknown

AquaMark3

The AquaMark3 benchmark doesn't care much for frame buffer sizes. Textures appear to fit into a 128MB design easily enough. Clock speed and bandwidth is probably more important here. Another case of near-GT performance at around the £250 mark.

Unreal Tournament 2003

Vendor: Epic - (Website)
API: DX8.0
Pixel Shader Version Supported: PS1.1, some limited PS1.4 shaders to render terrain in less passes

UT2003

Another handy showing in our UT2003 High-Detail benchmark. The effectiveness of ASUS's GeForce 6800 256MB card directly relates to which gaming title is tested. Use one with huge textures and reliance on bandwidth and the card is almost twice as fast as a vanilla 6800. Use an older title and the differences aren't that pronounced.
