Overclocking
Zotac's conservative factory overclock is highlighted by the fact that there's plenty of headroom available. It took us no time to ramp-up boost frequency to 1,324MHz, while memory ran happily at an effective 7,840MHz.
A healthy gain, but it makes you wonder what kind of silicon lottery Zotac is playing with its pricier AMP! Extreme model - remember, that card ships with a ridiculous boost clock of 1,355MHz.
It doesn't take a lot of time to overclock the card, and it's well worth the effort if you're gaming at 3,840x2,160. With the heightened frequencies in place, we see average performance increased by up to 15 per cent.
