BFG's 6800 Ultra is only comfortably upstaged by an X800 XT PE at the very highest setting. What's perhaps more important is the excellent image quality shown by all four cards.

And our UT2003 Flyby shows slightly better performance on ATI's cards. From our benchmark evaluation, NVIDIA's cards seem to be faster in OpenGL-coded games whilst ATI's have the edge in D3D. Doom 3, the game that everyone's talking about, appears to run better on NVIDIA's cards. We'll hope to add that to our benchmark suite at the earliest possible time. If the initial benchmark figures are indeed correct, BFG, one of NVIDIA's chief supporters, is in for an Indian summer. Only time will tell.
