The most valid comparison is between the X800 PRO and NVIDIA's GeForce 6800 GT cards. With that being the case, the GT just edges out the X800 PRO at each tested resolution and setting. That's not to say any card is slow. This quartet, with their high frequencies and massive rendering setups, will outdistance any previous card by a significant margin.

Two things become apparent in this OpenGL test. NVIDIA's cards are better than ATI's, and having 'only' 12 rendering pipes causes Crucial's PRO to look poor in relation to the other three cards. That said, an average FPS of 63.2 at 1600x1200 4x FSAA and 8x AF isn't excellent when considered in absolute terms.
