The 2013 Tomb Raider reboot has received critical acclaim and, with the aid of Crystal Dynamics' game engine, helps bring Lara Croft to life with stunning character models and believable worlds. We run a 45-second benchmark using the Ultra-quality preset.
Gigabyte still leads the GTX 960 pack in Tomb Raider, and still trails the Radeon R9 280X. Worth noting that the GTX 970 is in another league when it comes to performance, and though said GPU has memory 'problems' of its own, it remains a potent purchase at around the £250 mark.
