Serious Sam, Unreal Tournament 2003
Serious Sam: SE
Vendor: Croteam - (Website)API: DirectX 8.0
Pixel Shader Version Supported: No pixel shaders

The Radeon's OpenGL performance isn't as good as it could be, with the performance lagging ever so slightly. Framerates remain very playable at the initial setting without IQ enhancements applied. It's nice to see all three boards scale similarly, given their respective architecture and Serious Sam's fillrate and bandwidth-happy design.
Unreal Tournament 2003
Vendor: Epic - (Website)API: DX8.0
Pixel Shader Version Supported: PS1.1, some limited PS1.4 shaders to render terrain in less passes

With very little pixel shader action in UT2003, raw fillrate and memory bandwidth take over as the main determinents of performance. The Radeon's deficit in both those areas, compared to the GeForce FX boards, it the main reason it lags behind somewhat.
