Quake 4 performance
Quake 4 brings all the X1950 Pro cards to within a couple of FPS of each other. In fact, the FPS is so high that you can run 0x AA and 8x AF at 1,600 x 1,200, and still average over 105FPS in our Quake 4 benchmark.
The GeForce 7900GS, however, leaves the X1950 Pros in its wake, in the Quake 4 test. It rendered at a lightning fast average of 121FPS, more than 10% faster than the reds managed. NVIDIA’s OpenGL performance remains stellar.
