Far Cry, Painkiller
Vendor: UBI Soft - (Website)API: DirectX 9.0
Pixel Shader Version Supported: Mix PS1.1, PS1.4, PS2.0 with PS2.0 forced

Far Cry gets a very nice increase when the optimisations are enabled. The XFX outruns the X800 PRO at all but the upper setting where it catches up to within four frames per second of the 6800 Ultra. At the initial and median settings, the 6800 Ultra is well ahead.
Painkiller
Vendor: People Can Fly - (Website)API: DX9.0
Pixel Shader Version Supported: Mix, unknown versions

Painkiller sees next to no increase when optimisations are enabled except at the median setting. Texture shimmer is more evident when the IQ optimisations are enabled, so optimisations are better left off when playing Painkiller with the 61.34 driver set. When we're not CPU limited at the intial setting, the XFX is clearly ahead of the X800 PRO.
