BioShock is fantastically playable and looks great on the PC. We benchmark a 60-second section near the start with all available eye-candy turned on.

So what does this mean in real-world testing? The sample card routinely boosts to an average 1,392MHz across our games. Such frequency provides silky-smooth gameplay at 1080p and just about acceptable performance at 4K, though we'd recommend lowering the ultra-quality settings a touch for smoother framerates.

The Gigabyte card is approximately 10 per cent behind a stock-clocked GeForce GTX 980 - a difference that is actually perceivable at the 4K resolution.
