Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory performance

Notice the ongoing theme? 1280x1024 4xAA 8xAF is the likely resolution that readers interested in these cards will play games at. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory has greater shader effects and a more taxing engine than our previous two games, and the Foxconn GeForce 7600 GT's average framerate is just about acceptable at 12x10, but, as you'd imagine, the game plays a lot smoother on a GeForce 7900 GS.

Turning up the pain by adding in HDR we see that both the Foxconn GeForce 7600 GT and HIS X1650 XT's framerates drop enough to make the game juddery; there's simply not enough fire in the G73 engine.
