ShaderMark 2.0

ShaderMark 2.0 is run in Anti-Detect mode using PS2.0 and no partial precision hinting.

ShaderMark 2.0 performance

When the NVIDIA GPU is called on to do full precision PS2.0 shaders, the NV3x's well documented problem extracting good performance in that operating scenario rears its ugly head. The GPU, when it can actually complete the test, is anywhere from 2X to 4X slower than the Mobility Radeon 9600.

While the GPU offers decent performance in partial precision modes and with PS1.1 and PS1.4 shaders (for the most part), image quality tends to suffer to some degree. The NVIDIA GPU isn't that slow compared to MR9600 in general, as you'll see soon, but in terms of raw PS2.0 performance at full tilt, it's significantly behind.
