Call of Duty, Serious Sam: SE

Two OpenGL game tests now. Call of Duty uses a custom HEXUS demo at 32-bit and full Trilinear chosen by the game menu. AA and AF are forced using the control panel. Serious Sam: SE uses 32-bit textures and we set aniso using the game's controls, rather than in the driver for aniso, AA is forced in the driver.

We're CPU limited initially, especially on NV40. We get 'free' 4AA and 8AF at 1024x768, even on an Athlon FX-51, quite impressive. Throw the 8X mode into the mix and we see nothing new. Supersampling just chews up whatever performance it's given.

CPU limited on both cards initially, nice performance from NV40 at the second display point, then a nosedive when we use 8X, as before. It's nearly 50% slower than R360 at 1280x1024 with 8AA and 16AF.
