RTHDRIBL
Realtime High Dynamic Range Image-Based Lighting v1.2 is a test that GeForce FX has a lot of problems with, both in terms of framerate but also in terms of producing a correct image.GeForce 6, with its 32-bit floating point focus, support for multiple render targets and impressive theoretical performance should do well here and also produce a correct image.

28% higher performance from NV40 is probably a little low, given its theoretical capabilities, but this time around it can actually generate a good looking HDR image.

It's scaled slightly to fit our 600 pixel image width maximum and JPEG artifacting may spoil things a little, but it's an obviously correct image. Exposure and light bloom around the main object isn't banded or obviously incorrect. All the blending looks smooth and the display of the back buffer format (A16B16G16R16F) tells us it's running in a 16-bit per pixel component mode, at good speed.
