The XXX Edition's 610/1600 clocks gives it a significant lead over a default-clocked GeForce 7950 GT and around a 10% advantage of its passive stablemate, albeit an overclocked one. Still not enough D3D oomph to unsettle a Radeon X1900 XT 512MB, though.
Quake 4 framerates also head upwards by around 10%, and a linear-esque performance increase with extra clockspeed is also nice to see.
The XFX 7950 GT XXX is the only midrange SKU in our lineup to break an average of 50FPS, and you won't even hear it.
