Overclocking tools still need to be updated to fully support the Maxwell architecture. The current state of play is that tools allow a maximum GPU core increase of 135MHz, which the Asus is able to do quite easily. Memory overclocking, meanwhile, isn't quite so impressive; our sample started showing visual artifacts at any speed above 6,200MHz. Final, overclocked speed was a peak 1,285MHz core and 6,200MHz RAM.
The overclock is worth approximately 10 per cent in 3DMark.
