A win for 9800XT in the high end and a win for 9600XT, in the test resolution that matters most. Impressive performance from 5700 Ultra in a test I initially thought it would struggle at before testing. The NV35 core of NV36 seems to endow the 5700 Ultra with some nice speed, compared to the outgoing 5600 Ultra.

The clocked FX 5900 Ultra beats the proper 5950 Ultra again, but there's very little in it. Memory latency affects performance.

Notes

Render wise, nothing looks wrong on any of the boards, but the Radeon's aniso filter seems to give rise to sharper texture retail in some scenes, compared to the rival. Overall very good on all boards.
