A game that needs no introduction, Battlefield 4 is the latest incarnation of DICE's epic first-person shooter.
We've taken this opportunity to run some numbers from the single-player campaign within Battlefield 4. Our benchmark scene cycles through an open-air area rife with enemies, while sand blowing across the landscape provides extra graphical hurt.
Benchmarked at ultra-quality settings, the game is smooth at both resolutions. The chosen map is a little harder on AMD cards, it seems, and Nvidia's leading duo have the measure of the R9 290X and R9 290 GPUs. More importantly for the purposes of this review, Gigabyte continues to produce the best performance.
