Review: MSI GeForce FX5600 Ultra

SS2 next, one of my two favourite benchmarks. We saw back with the initial look at the revised 5600 Ultra, that the test favoured the ATI card initially. We should see the same here, otherwise I'm doing something wrong.

An ATI win in the base test, now we turn IQ on.

Aniso samples really seem to push card bandwidth in SS2, so the NVIDIA card with its advantage, does better. Lots-o-pixels(tm) now.

More of the same, with neither card really doing well at this point. PD now.

Swings and roundabouts here, NVIDIA doing better initially with IQ, then the ATI card pulling things back with the pixel count goes nuts. A different render setup, a different set of PD conclusions. Just goes to prove that what runs well on one, doesn't necessarily run well on another, despite similar capabilities.
