My favourite benchmark, hence leaving it until last. Easy to benchmark and visible differences in image quality when we enable those options, make it the star of our benchmarking show.

We lose the midrange FX here due to Excel gremlins (one of these days I'll slap it in to shape) but we still have meaningful comparison to 9600 Pro, and it keeps up quite well.

We turn on IQ and performance drops considerably on the midrange 9600 Pro and low end FX5200 Ultra. The PD graph will show us just how much. The high end board show the lesser specced mortals just how to render UT2003 at speed.

9800 Pro wins, FX5900 second, 9600 Pro third, FX5200 Ultra last. Did you expect anything different? Here's the PD before we move on to some conclusions.

The PD in the move to enabling IQ initially is what to look at here. Smallest drop on the FX5900, median drop on the 9600 Pro and biggest drop on the little FX. Just what we expected, showing proper operation due to feature scaling. With EXPERTool, we see ~3.5% increase at base with the new clocks, and around 2% when we turn on IQ. Not too shabby from the little overclocked FX.
