Code Creatures

Code Creatures now, an almost meaningless benchmark in the context of a budget card review, since it doesn't even perform that well on high end boards. But here's the base graph anyway.

Only 4 frames per second slower than the 5600 Ultra r2 at base, not too shabby. Almost on top of 9600 Pro too. Can you guess what's going to happen next?

No hardware compression assist and it chokes to death. Mind you, so do the others.

I hope Gainward don't read this page.

Interesting to see the law of dimishing returns kick in on the FX 5200 and give us better PD drop scores in the move to 1600x1200 than either of the other FX's. EXPERTool gains us nothing in Code Creatures, ~1% at base and even less when IQ gets turned on. The nature of the unoptimised beast. Either that or there's some benchmark tomfoolery going on. You decide, I'm moving on to another test.
