Overclocking

MSI's focus on cooling paves the way for the card to be pushed to a respectable 1,175MHz core and 7,008MHz memory. The overclock is exactly the same as achieved on the Gigabyte WindForce, a little higher than the Palit, but a few MHz shy of the EVGA GTX 760. Perhaps of just as much interest is the ability to raise the board's Power Target all the way up to 145 per cent; most GTX 760s limit this to no more than 110 per cent.

Getting jiggy with the clocks allows the MSI to encroach on GeForce GTX 680 speeds: nice. We noted the GPU was boosting to over 1,300MHz when running through the benchmark.
