Unreal Tournament 2003

The test we use is a max detail Antalus flyby. UT really gives nice texture IQ when you enable anisotrpoc filtering and it's easy to benchmark, so it's a good test all round. Here's the baseline result, and going by the results of the other DX8 class games, the FX5600 Ultra should come out on top.

And it does, no shock there. Can it keep that going?

Yep, with IQ features on, it manages to stay ahead. The PD graph will be interesting. Lastly, the 1600x1200 torture test.

Now from what we've seen, the PD graph should be very similar on both cards. This is the graph I was most interested in seeing when doing the benchmarks for this review. UT2003 is a pretty good gauge of real world graphics performance and gives you a good idea of where performance will be in other titles.

Both cards are pretty much identical in terms of the performance hit when enabling IQ features and turning up the pixel gas. While it's swings and roundabouts in other tests, UT2003 usually tends to round things out and give an overview. Speaking of which, I better get on with one after all those pretty graphs.
