To pair with the rendering errors, S3's hardware and driver also produce substandard performance results in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory in single GPU mode, compared to their tested competition. The X1300 PRO is some 20% faster at the most playable resolution and the NVIDIA is even faster still.
MultiChrome, SLI and Crossfire
When scaling with another board in multi-GPU mode, MultiChrome nearly doubles the single S27 board performance, although performance still lags behind 6600 DDR2 SLI or X1300 PRO Crossfire.
