Crysis 3 is a beautiful-looking game that continues to tax high-end systems. We've FRAPS'd a 30-second section near the start of the game, with lashing rain, numerous reflections and full DX11 pomp on show.
GTX 780 slots in nicely between the Titan and GTX 680 GPUs, and it's around 20 per cent faster than the latter. That's not a massive leap when you consider just how much more GFLOPS throughput (29 per cent) and memory bandwidth advantage (50 per cent) it enjoys. The GTX 680 appears to be a better-balanced architecture.
Yet it was the only one of the trio that didn't have obvious slowdowns at the higher setting of 2,560x1,600.
