3DMark 2001SE
Benchmarking begins with the de facto Direct3D benchmark, 3DMark 2001SE build 330. An upgraded subsystem, consisting of a 3.0GHz Pentium 4 C and Asus Canterwood P4C800 Deluxe should boost the scores from our last 3DMark multi-card outing.
First, 1024x768x32.
The two faster cards are a generation ahead in overall performance. Still, it should be interesting to see just where the XFX Ti 4800 SE stacks up in comparison. All scores are relatively high, thanks to the impressive subsystem employed.
The percentage gap continues to grow as the card becomes the greater bottleneck. 8000+ marks at 1600x1200x32 is still a good indicator that the XFX is more than able to play the majority of today's games reasonably smoothly.
