Comanche 4
Comanche 4 is another benchmark that makes use of pixel and vertex shading. The benchmark is generally considered to be system-limited on high-end cards. With that in mind, we should see very little performance degradation as we scale the resolutions.
The FX's drivers don't seem all that happy with this test.
Notice how small the degradation in performance is between the resolutions. The test is still pretty much system-limited.
We lose next to nothing going from 1024 to 1600. This shows the power of the above three cards in an indirect way. They're still waiting for the CPU to feed them, and this is a 2.8GHz P4 under the hood.
