Comanche 4, on the other hand, makes plentiful use of the modern vertex and pixel shaders, giving realistic images of both the helicopter and water surroundings. Another facet of this benchmark is its cpu-dependant nature, although I'd wager that both cards will give out before the CPU buckles.
Leaving the vertex shading up to the CPU puts the Xabre 400 at an immediate disadvantage.
The difference is magnified further as we up the resolution. It seemed extremely jerky in parts on the Xabre with TexTurbo 0.
