Serious Sam 2
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter next. Both cards should do well with this one. Benchmarked using the Sierra De Chiapas Timedemo with normal settings to avoid unnecessary anisotropic filtering being applied by default. Rendered in OpenGL.
Firstly, 1024x768x32 Normal.
Whilst 3DMark 2001SE was a close affair, Serious Sam 2 isn't. The Radeon 9000 almost doubles the Xabre's scores at TexTurbo 0.
The trend continues at 1280x1024. The Xabre simply doesn't like this particular game. The benchmark appeared to be slightly jerky whilst in motion.
More of the same here, I'm afraid. Even the blurred TexTurbo 0 setting can't help it gain parity. Maybe the drivers need a little work here ?.
