UT2003

Being a modern game, UT2003 should provide us with a reasonable insight as to whether this class of card can cut it for the forseeable future. I'm benchmarking the demo at the predefined resolutions of 1024x768, 128x960, and 1600x1200. As always, the colour depth is set to 32 bits. Further, the benchmark will be restricted to the more card-limited flybys.

The Radeons' superior architecture pushes the Ti 4800-SE down a little here. High frame-rates all-round here.

Raise the resolution and the gaps get bigger.

The flybys simply serve to show what kind of performance one would expect with no other combatants on screen. From my experience you can literally halve the above frame-rates to guesstimate what kind of performance you could expect in a real game.
