3DMark 11 is the latest version of this hugely-popular synthetic benchmark. Making use of DX11 features such as tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading, it provides modern-day results and is available as a free download.
The GTX 660 EX OC is some way behind its bigger brother, the GTX 660 Ti EX OC, in the first test. Both are clocked in at the same speeds, remember, so the performance delta can be explained by the markedly fewer shaders/texture units on the cheaper model. Still, for what it's worth, the card is quicker than either of the two price-comparison Radeon GPUs.
