Praised both by critics and gamers, the latest instalment of the Total War series takes strategy enthusiasts back to 16th-century Japan and presents a lavish blend of 3D real-time battles and turn-based management.

As expected, Sapphire's card is always quicker when used in the optional overclocked state (BIOS 2). The free five per cent boost in performance is worth having, so it's a surprise that Sapphire doesn't set the HD 7870 Flex GHz Edition to BIOS 2 by default.
