Overclocking
The amount of overclocking headroom available to a GeForce GTX 670 will vary from card to card, and we experienced an interesting return from our review sample.
Gigabyte's card didn't allow us to go much further on the core - we couldn't add more than 50MHz and maintain stability - but there's plenty of wiggle room on memory and we were able to get up to 7,208MHz out of the 2GB frame buffer.
No surprise here; the overclock is enough to leapfrog the GeForce GTX 680 and put Gigabyte's card at the top of the pile.
