DOOM 3

DOOM 3 performance, and by inference OpenGL performance, isn't quite as good as it should be. A regular NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB card, an architectural generation behind, is faster in both standard and enhanced high-quality modes. That's disappointing from ATI/Gigabyte's point of view, and the card lags nearly 35% behind a default-clocked ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB, which, it bears pointing out, costs around £75 extra.
