Benchmark: Power Consumption

The increase in core and memory speeds delivers greater in-game performance, but the out-the-box overclock does result in an increase in power consumption. Compared to AMD's reference Radeon HD 7850, a system kitted out with PowerColor's PCS+ consumes roughly 16 per cent more juice when running Crysis 2. Though, a system-wide reading of 188 Watts still seems frugal compared to last-generation cards.
