Benchmark: Crysis 2

Crysis 2 may not have lived up to the expectations set by its predecessor, but with the DX11 patch and high-res textures, it's a gorgeous-looking game.
Software optimisation plays an important part in graphics card performance. AMD's Radeon 6000-series parts had the edge in Aliens vs. Predator, Battlefield 3 proved to be more even, and NVIDIA clearly has the upper hand in Crysis 2.
This is a lovely-looking title and the GTX 560 Ti 448 once again delivers smooth performance at 1080p with maximum image quality. As expected, performance is a good step up from standard GTX 560 Ti, and a short step back from GTX 570.
Interesting to note that at 2,560x1,600 a single high-end GPU isn't going to be enough for some of the latest DX11 titles. CrossFire and SLI are recommended for gaming at such ultra-high settings.
