Overclocking
Gigabyte's GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 isn't factory overclocked, but the low operating temperatures and excellent cooler provide plenty of headroom for end-user tweaking.
By increasing voltage by roughly 10 per cent, we managed to maintain stability with the core cranked up to 950MHz and the memory boosted to an effective 4,400MHz. That represents an increase of around 30 per cent and 15 per cent, respectively, and at this point, system-wide power consumption rises to almost 300 Watts under load.
The healthy overclock has the desired effect. At these speeds, the GTX 560 Ti 448 rises to the top of the chart and 1080p performance is up by over 22 per cent compared to default clocks.
