Overclocking

We increased the core voltage to 1.0875V and ran Just Cause 2 as a basic stability test.

Card GPU clock
(MHz)
Memory clock

Core OC Memory OC Core percentage Memory percentage
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 SO 1,024MB 900 4,008 975 4,450 8.33 11.03
MSI GeForce GTX 560 TF II/OC 1,024MB 870 4,080 985 4,440 13.22 8.83
ASUS GeForce GTX 560 TOP 1,024MB 925 4,200 1,005 4,480 8.65 6.67

The table shows the default and overclocked frequencies of the three cards. The percentage improvements over pre-overclocked speeds aren't huge. The best of the trio, when compared to its default speed, is the MSI Twin Frozr II/OC.

Coincidentally enough, the three pre-overclocked cards line up together in both games.
