OK, so the gaming performance of the Radeon HD 6790 is hit and miss. Choosing Sapphire's card and bumping up frequencies, the card scaled to 950MHz core and 4,600MHz memory without any issue: nice.
The two graphs juxtapose nicely to show that while the extra frequency helps considerably in Aliens vs. Predator, the architecture shortfall cannot be concealed in Just Cause 2.
