The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.
The picture painted by Aliens vs. Predator isn't much prettier. At both the 720p and 1080p resolutions, Gigabyte's GTX 550 Ti OC only just manages to keep up with a stock-clocked Radeon HD 5770 that's some £30 cheaper.
