Benchmark: 3DMark Vantage
The popular 3DMark Vantage benchmark is run using the high-performance preset. We record numbers from the overall score, GPU score and Test 4, the latter of which includes extensive use of the GPU's stream-out function and vertex and geometry shading.
Performance, as expected, is practically identical to the similarly-clocked KFA2 card, but more to the point, Gigabyte's 460 SOC gets off to a flying start.
Punching above its weight, the 815MHz card outscores the likes of the GeForce GTX 470 and Radeon HD 6870 in most tests, despite costing around £20 less.
