The temperatures and power-draw figures (for the system) are generally in line with other GeForce GTX cards. ATI's done a decent thermal job with HD 4890, by better-regulating the fan-speed, so it's pretty good all-round.

GeForce GTX 275 reference heatsink's fan is almost inaudible when idling and only rises to a hum - most of the time - when under 3D load, assuming it's placed in a well-ventilated chassis.
