Temps, and overclocking

ATI's reference cooler isn't as good as NVIDIA's with respect to temperatures and noise. The card still passes our stability test with flying colours, but a 92°C under-load figure and slight fan-whine make it less endearing than the GeForce's.
Overclocking
Run at a default 750MHz core/shader and 3,600MHz GDDR5 memory, we cranked the card up to 781MHz/3,960MHz and then re-ran Enemy Territory: Quake Wars at 1,920x1,200. As benchmarked on the previous pages, the card returned an average 102.17fps, which rose to 106.95fps when overclocked - a figure that's still significantly slower than GeForce GTX 295's 135.8fps.
