Our first test, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, shows that the Core i7 system scales particularly well at resolutions of 1,920x1,200. Its sheer power offers a tangible performance increase over a Core 2 system.

At 2,560x1,600, that extra CPU power is of little-to-no benefit - NVIDIA's cream of the crop is still GPU bound at such high resolutions.
