Race Driver: GRID, too, had a problem with the Radeon HD 3850 256MB card and with the GeForce 9500 GT, thus, we didn't manage to secure a usable resul for either.
1,680x1,050 is smooth on the Sapphire Radeon HD 4670, and knowing that the runs better on ATI hardware, it's no surprise to see it take top spot at the higher resolution.
The key message here, we suppose, is that you're likely to average over 30fps in first-person shooters when the resolution is set to 1,680x1,050 and a decent degree of image-enhancement is applied - not bad for a ~£50 card.
