Using an automated scanner to optimise the frequency curve, base and boost clocks are increased to 1,569MHz and 1,884MHz, respectively, while memory is effortlessly notched up to 14.4Gbps.

It is possible to eke out an extra frame or two, but for the sake of card longevity, it hardly seems worth the effort. Let us also point out that the coil whine on our review sample increased dramatically with the overclock in place.
