3DMark05 b1.2.0 to start us off. We immediately see how the GeForce 7800 GTX cards trample over previous generation's efforts. Leadtek's card, shown by the black line, matches the reference card's results, just as we would expect from identically-clocked cards. Extra card horsepower pushes the XFX GeForce 7800 GTX Extreme Edition's performance to the highest single-card scores we've ever seen. To put it in some kind of perspective, it's faster at 1600x1200x32 than both a GeForce 6800 Ultra and ATI X850 XT PE, no slouches of cards, are at 1024x768x32.

Adding in image quality via 4x Antialiasing and 8x Anisotropic Filtering, we see little positional change. XFX's turbocharged 7800 GTX is almost 12% faster than a reference card.
