17 years after the events of Far Cry 5, New Dawn takes gamers back to Hope County, Montana, for an open-world action adventure that's both colourful and fun.
Don't dismiss the larger frame buffer just yet. Testing Far Cry: New Dawn with HD textures enabled reveals a genuine benefit to the 8GB model, with performance improving by as much as 20 per cent at a QHD resolution. Trouble is, if you've got your eye on higher-resolution gaming, spending a little more on a GTX 1660 Super is probably the way to go.
