Power, Temperature, Noise
Hiking up the frequency has a knock-on effect of increasing power consumption to 200W. That is still far less than the Radeon RX Vega 56 and even RX 580+, yet does that really matter? The extra 87W of the Vega 56 would accrue an additional annual electricity expenditure of around 45kW if gaming for 10 hours per week, every week, eventually leading to a higher bill by Ā£7.
Having that huge cooler automatically means temps are likely to be good - excellent, in fact.
Though we have bemoaned its size, that massive heatsink's three fans can barely be heard, and logs show that they spin at a maximum 43 per cent under load.
